The Challenge

The challenge was to create a brand book for Arc’teryx that translates the brand’s commitment to performance, craftsmanship, and environment into a cohesive editorial experience. The objective was to capture the balance of technical precision and refined quality while maintaining a strong connection to the outdoors.

The Approach

The publication was designed to reflect Arc’teryx’s emphasis on performance and craftsmanship through a disciplined, editorial system. Large-scale imagery showcases products in motion, emphasizing durability and the relationship between design and environment.

A restrained typographic system, structured grid, and nature-inspired palette reinforce themes of simplicity, precision, and utility. The layout creates moments of focus and scale, allowing the product and landscape to define the visual narrative.

The Result

The final publication is a cohesive brand book that communicates Arc’teryx’s values, innovation, and commitment to craft. Across 11 spreads and a designed cover system, the work presents a refined editorial experience that balances technical performance with a strong sense of environment.
